Have you ever leave a comment on someone’s blog, and keep checking the website to read if there’s a new comment reply to your comment?
I know it because I did the same thing few times before. It’s frustrating, especially when you leave a comment to ask the author something about his article and really need to know the answer.
All you need to do is to install and activate Comment Reply Notification. This plugin will add a new checkbox at the bottom of the comment form.
1. Install and activate the Comment Reply Notification plugin.
2. Configure the plugin. Go to Settings > Comment Reply Notification.
There are few things you can configure such as the default option, email template, and heading.
Alternatively, if you’re using Jetpack plugin, there’s a Subscriptions module that allows you to add similar feature. Click on the Configure button to enable this feature. This module allows you to add two new features to your site – Allows the user to subscribe for new updates from your site and subscribe to new comments.
To enable either one or both of the features, simply tick the option and hit the Save Changes button. Here it is how it looks on WPFeed.com
