In this tutorial, we’re going to show you how to add a “click to tweet” feature in your WordPress site. You may have seen this feature before – when you click on the button or link, you’ll be tweeting some part (probably quote) from the article.
Click to Tweet Plugin
If you’re more into a plugin, there’s a plugin called Click to Tweet. Once activated, you’ll see a new button on the post editor to add the Click to Tweet button. Simple click on the button and enter your tweet. Remember that the text limit is still limited up to 140 characters.
Here’s an example of what you’ll see. It’s pretty nice and simple design.
Additionally, the plugin comes with a settings page. This is where you’ll be able to set a @username that will be added to end of the tweet.
Clicktotweet.com Service
If you don’t use this feature so often or just in a while, I’d recommend using Clicktotweet.com service (Yes, it’s free). Compose your tweet and generate the link. Simply copy the link generated and link it to any text in your article.
That’s it. If you’ve any question or suggestion, as usual, feel free to drop your comment in the comment section below.
