I hate the default login page in WordPress. Although the login page can be customized, it’s not user-friendly. Users have to click a link and they will be redirected to the login page.
Why not just put the login form on the front page? It can be on your sidebar and on your top menu. Personally, I like to see login form in the popup, it looks more elegant. Seriously.
And that’s what I’m going to share today.
Introducing the SimpleModal Login plugin. It uses jQuery to show the login form in a nice popup as can you see above.
Besides login form in the nice popup, you can also use it to enable sign up form in a popup. I use it on one of my projects and client like it so much. For instructions on how to use it, please refer to the plugin’s page.
