Lately i had to develop a wap version for a website of one of my clients. on the way i bumped into some great plugins for mobile use. here’s a list of the top wordpress mobile plugins.

i’ve tried them all (like i always do before writing), but for the website i developed i used WordPress Mobile Plugin. easy one.

I got to know about this plugin few days back and I installed it on my blog. The plugin works great. Though the downside is due to adsense or any advertisement code , it make your blog look ugly in mobile. If you are not using any adsense code around your blog posts. This plugin will be very handy to get an extra edge from mobile internet users.

I know the importance of rendering mobile views of the blogs is important, but there needs to be an app which simplifies writing for the blog on a cell phone/smartphone. One where there isn’t a need to access online and come to the site until ready to publish. That would be a great addition.

It’s great to see posts like this popping up giving more exposure to mobile development in wordpress! However, it’s a shame that your list was created before my mobile plugin was published – it’s definitely worth featuring!
I’ve created a mobile plugin for wordpress written in WAPL that allows you to use the same URL as web, ensure that every device in the world is catered for and retain the look and feel of web to mobile making your blog look really nice.
The plugin is at version 1.3 and there are tons of features available, here are just a few:

I personally likes “Wapple” Its simple the best and have all required addon for wap even supports all in one seo pack

I am such a noob. So does this mean when you install a plu-in such as this.. your website can be seen via pc and mac and then also on mobile.. or does this just render it visible ONLY on a mobile phone.. I am a bit confused..
